Marianne Carlon

Prof Marianne Carlon is an assistant professor at KU Leuven in the Laboratory of Respiratory Thoracic Surgery (BREATHE), affiliated to the Center of Molecular Medicine. Her research interests are the development of causative therapies targeting the genetic defect in cystic fibrosis, making use of innovative in vitro cell models, including patient derived organoids and airway models. She acts as the main supervisor of DC2.
